About the Opportunity:
Are you experienced in compliance or working with regulatory controls? The Shire of Denmark is seeking a professional and efficient individual to carry out compliance inspections on private properties within the Shire of Denmark.
Some of the position requirements are:
- Ability to interpret relevant legislation, policy and compliance documentation with guidance and support as needed
- Computing and IT skills - enter and report inspections on tablet
- Accurate record-keeping and evidence-gathering skills, (photos, notes, records) with attention to detail.
- Ability to respect and maintain the strictest level of confidentiality
- Ability to work autonomously
- Well-developed time management and organisation skills
- Diligent approach to workplace health and safety
- Be solution focussed and have a can-do attitude.
Hours of Work:
This position will be approximately 60 hours per fortnight and will commence in December with the objective of inspections being completed by the end of April 2025.
About You:
This role will ideally suit an outdoor orientated person who is confident working lone, has a consistent approach to their work and the ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and fairness. You will be required to:
- Hold a current ‘C’ class drivers’ licence
- Have a current police clearance
In return we can offer you:
- An attractive base salary of $41.1183 per hour which includes 25% casual loading and up to 16.5% Superannuation, and any work-related allowances.
