Get ready to celebrate Youth Week 2025 with our Shire of Denmark Youth Fest, supported by the Department of Communities, held on Wednesday, 16th April, 2025, from 11am to 3pm at the McLean Sports Precinct near the skate park.

Running from the 10th to the 17th of April, Youth Week WA 2025 is an opportunity for young people aged 10-25 to be recognised for their valuable contributions to the social, cultural, and economic life of Western Australia.

This year's theme, "Our Threads, This Place, Your Moment," encourages youth to express their ideas, showcase their talents, raise awareness about important issues, and connect with their peers and the wider community.

This year’s exciting, all-ages Youth Fest event features a variety of activities and attractions, including:

  • Arts and Crafts by War on Waste
  • Skateboard Competition by Denmark Skate Inc
  • Lego Stations
  • Lawn Games
  • Mini Golf by Par Tee Golf
  • Photobooth by Ace Camera Club
  • Face Painting by MIKI
  • Chill Out Sensory Zone
  • Have a Go Aerials and Mini Tramp by Southern Edge Arts

In addition to these fun activities, we will have support agencies such as AYSA, Palmerston, and Holyoak, as well as our own Shire Rangers on-site, providing education and information to our youth and their parents.

At our listening posts, our Shire Councillors and the Denmark CRC will be available to hear our young community members’ thoughts and ideas about the future of our community and several competitions will run throughout the day, including our competition to name the Shire of Denmark’s Youth Strategy.

The Shire encourages all community members to come along and be a part of this vibrant celebration of our youth!
