The Shire of Denmark advises community members that Kwoorabup Footbridge will undergo maintenance works for approximately one week from mid-February 2022.
The footbridge will still be accessible to pedestrians however, we ask that people be aware that works are being conducted below the bridge and in the river.
Watercraft users are asked to avoid the area whilst the works are being conducted.
Diving flags will be displayed on the river and signage will be positioned on the footbridge.
During the same time frame, a one-day underwater inspection of the Heritage Rail Bridge off Inlet Drive is planned.
Divers will be working beneath the bridge. In the interests of safety, community members are asked to abide by signage on the bridge.
Diving flags will be displayed on the river whilst the inspection is underway.
Watercraft users are asked to avoid the area whilst divers are in the water.
