Have Your Say on Future of Mount Hallowell Reserve

“Hi, my name is Kingsley Gibson and I’m the Denmark Shire President. I’m here on the Sheila Hill Walk Trail in the Mount Hallowell Reserve.”

“I’m here because we want to encourage our community to get involved in a major review of the reserve that’s occurring at the moment. The Shire has employed an independent consultant, Aurora Environmental, to conduct the review for us and we’re really keen to have broad public input into what matters about Mount Hallowell to you and what’s important to preserve and how the reserve should be used going forward.”

“The public comment period closes on the 17th of January, so we’re really hoping people will jump on our website and be able to have their own input into that review. If the internet is a bit of a challenge for you, you can grab a paper copy from the Shire offices.”

“So please get involved and make sure that we capture everyone’s views as we plan the future of Mount Hallowell.”
