It is hereby notified for public information that the Shire has received an application for Development Approval for the purposes described hereunder:

 

Proposed Development:          PROPOSED EXTRACTIVE INDUSTRY (GRAVEL)

Address:                                    No. 308 (Lot 2091) Churchill Road, Scotsdale 

Shire Reference:                      2025/6; A479

 An application has been lodged for Development Approval and an Extractive Industry Licence as per the Shire of Denmark’s Extractive Industries Local Law 2001. As part of the assessment process, the application is required to be advertised for public comment having regard to ‘Part 2 – Licencing Requirements for an Extractive Industry’ under the Local Law.

 Plans of the proposed development are available for viewing at the Shire Offices, 953 South Coast Highway, Denmark, during business hours (9am – 4pm weekdays) Plans of the proposal can be viewed Your Denmark or at the Shire's offices.

 Comments on the proposal should be lodged with Planning Services, in writing (email is preferred) on or before close of business on
Friday, 14 March 2025. Please note that any comments received may be referred to the applicant to provide them with an opportunity to address the issues raised in the first instance (NB: names and contact details are removed at this point in time). Should the proposal be referred to Council for determination, all comments will be made publicly available at that time.
This proposal is available for inspection in order to provide an opportunity for public comment as part of the Shire’s assessment process of the proposal.
