The fifth annual Rates Incentive Prize was awarded last month to lucky ratepayers who paid their rates in full early.
Each year, all ratepayers who pay their rates in full by the due date are automatically entered into the draw to win one of seven prizes of ‘Denmark Dollars’ in the spirit of giving back and supporting local business.
The ‘Denmark Dollars’ prizes are vouchers to use at participating local stores and businesses which are also members of the Denmark Chamber of Commerce.
The first prize winner received $1000 ‘Denmark Dollars’, two second prize winners received $500 ‘Denmark Dollars’ each and there were four third prize winners who each received $250 ‘Denmark Dollars’.
The prize winners were congratulated at the November Ordinary Council Meeting.
