Sustainability Strategy and Action Plan

In March 2021, Council adopted our Sustainability Strategy 2021 - 2031. The Strategy is complemented by a Sustainability Action Plan and is being implemented under guidance from the Shire's Sustainable Projects Committee

The Shire of Denmark's Sustainability Strategy pillars can be viewed below, or via the Climate Action website. To access a broader picture of the Shire's sustainability actions within the regional context, you can visit the South Coast Climate Dashboard.

A local Sustainable Events Policy is in place in the Shire of Denmark.
